Jesse Lane of Oakland, CA, founded the Biker Dogs Motorcycle Club International in 2000. It is the world’s first motorcycle club for dogs who ride motorcycles.
The club is know as “Biker Dogs MC” and has a membership of over 86 biker dogs in five countries (USA, Japan, England, Canada and Italy).
Members can be canine or human but must be motorcycle riders. Canines are “Biker Dog” members and humans are either “Guardian” members or “defender” members.
Jesse Lane is the “International Pack Guardian” and Houdini, his apricot Belgian Schipperke dog, is the “International Pack Leader”.
Club Chapters are called “packs” and local ones have names such as “California Woof Pack”, “K9 Outpaws Pack” or “Chrome Fang Pack”.
Every year, the club sponsors an Annual “Biker Dog Run” with an itinerary fixed in advance.
